2019学生评价
Academics 学术
Mix of incredible and really bad professors. A lot of homework, the workload way more than my friends describe at other campuses.
我觉得这里混杂着非常糟糕的教授。作业很多，工作量比我朋友在其他学校描述的多得多。
The professors grade too harshly and don’t give students enough credit for their hard work. Each professor believes his/her class is the most important one.
教授们对学生的评分太苛刻，对他们的努力没有给予足够的评价。每个教授都认为自己的课是最重要的。
Most of the classes are kind of difficult. However, it is college so that should be expected (it’s not going to be an easy ride like most high school courses). If you are willing to put in the effort, then you will do well. Professors like to see their students put in the effort and they are accessible outside of office hours if needed.
大多数的课程都有点难。然而，这才是人们应该期待的大学的样子(不会像大多数高中课程那样一帆风顺)。如果你愿意付出努力，那么你会做得很好。教授们希望看到他们的学生付出努力，如果有需要，他们可以在办公时间之外与学生取得联系。
Campus 校园
Beautiful area. Right by the beach. Santa Monica has nice attractions and isn’t too far. The scenery is amazing

There are many shopping centers nearby and theaters. The beach is very close and there is lots to do off campus. I feel very safe in Malibu. Most locals are nice to students.
附近有许多购物中心和电影院。海滩很近，在校外有很多事情可以做。我觉得在马里布很安全。大多数当地人对学生都很好。
Malibu is stunning. If you are an outdoorsy person like I am, this is a great school for you. I do many adventurous things on a daily basis, including ocean kayaking, standup paddle boarding, surfing, climbing, hiking, etc. However, if you enjoy cities, night life, convenience and a college town, Malibu is not your place. Most things, including Target, are through the canyon and about a twenty minute drive. Safety is amazing, with our DPS officers on 24 hour patrol of our campus. I walk by myself as a woman through the night without any concerns.
马里布真的很漂亮。如果你和我一样喜欢户外活动，这是一所很好的学校。我每天都做很多运动的事情，包括划皮划艇、单人划桨、冲浪、爬山、徒步旅行等。然而，如果你喜欢城市、夜生活、便利和大学城，马里布就没那么适合你了。大多数商场，包括target，都要穿过峡谷，大约20分钟的车程。这里非常安全，我们的DPS官员24小时巡逻我们的校园。作为一个女生我也一样独自在夜晚走过路，没有任何顾虑。
